Did you know . .

The name “Tennessee” originated from the old Yuchi Indian word, “Tana-see,” meaning “The Meeting Place”?

When flown at half-staff, the American flag is raised to the top of the flag pole then lowered to half-staff?  When it is taken down, it is raised to the top of the flag pole and then lowered.

Geese faithfully mate for life and will stay close together during all seasons?
